Wood and brick wallpaper gives you the finish in an afternoon, on any flat wall, with nothing to demolish when you change your mind. Because we print at full scale, the planks are plank-sized and the bricks are brick-sized; at the distance a wall is actually seen from, the eye reads the texture as real. These are the patterns we send most often to mudrooms, dens, basements, home offices, and the accent wall behind a bed or a television.

Wood Looks

Reclaimed wood and painted beach wood murals for a weathered, wide-plank wall. Barn wood planks laid in a herringbone. Plywood for a modern, raw finish. Chevron wood and chevron striped wood where the planks meet in a point. Wood grain waves for something more abstract. Interwoven parquet in a standard and a bold scale. Brown and vintage wood for a straightforward plank wall. The murals are printed as numbered panels that run across the wall without a vertical repeat, so a wide-plank look stays continuous.

Brick Looks

Three bricks: a classic red-toned brick, a whitewashed vintage brick for a softer, older wall, and a grey cement brick that reads industrial. Brick wallpaper is the usual answer for a fireplace surround, a kitchen wall or a loft-style office where real brick is not an option. For concrete rather than brick, the surface and texture collection has cement, stone and plaster looks.

Materials, Sizing and Installation

Every design comes in three materials, chosen at checkout: vinyl peel and stick, with a slightly satin sheen and the stronger grip of the two peel-and-stick options, which will adhere to moderately textured walls; fabric peel and stick, matte, the easiest to install and the renter-friendly choice that removes without damaging paint; and traditional unpasted Type II, for commercial work or a professional install. All three are Class A fire rated and Prop 65 compliant. Rolls are 24 inches wide in 60, 96, 108 and 122 inch lengths, with a roll calculator on every product page and custom sizes on request. Wait thirty days after painting before installing, and avoid stain-resistant or anti-microbial paints unless the wall is primed with Roman Pro-935 R-35. Everything is made to order in our Ramsey, New Jersey studio and ships in about one to three business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it look real up close?

At arm's length you will see it is printed. At the distance a wall is normally viewed, the full-scale planks and bricks read as the material. Order a 24 x 24 inch sample to judge it on your own wall.

Can I use wood wallpaper on a ceiling or on cabinets?

Yes. Vinyl peel and stick works on ceilings and on smooth cabinet fronts; see the ceiling and cabinet collections.

Which material for a mudroom or basement?

Vinyl peel and stick, for the wipeable finish and the stronger grip. Fabric if the space is rented.

Do the planks line up between rolls?

Wallpapers have a stated repeat and match roll to roll. Murals are numbered panels installed in order, so the plank run is continuous across the wall.
