Simple Shapes Summer Photo Contest is here!

Show off your baby nusery, bedroom, living room, office or anywhere you use our wall decals! For all of our past customers and soon to be customers, don’t miss your chance to enter into our Summer Photo Contest! From now until September 7th, we will be accepting entries for our Summer Photo Contest! We’ve lined up some great prizes for not just the 1st place winner but also 2nd and 3rd place!

To Enter:

Go to our Facebook page here. If you haven’t “liked” us already, you must do so to enter your photo. Once you “like” us, you can post one of your photo’s along with your order number to our page. Once your photo is posted on our page, it is officially entered! Sit back and relax until the voting begins! If you are having difficulty posting photos on Facebook, you can always email it to us at contest@simpleshapes.com and we will post it for you.

Voting:

We will upload a photo album on our Facebook Page on September 12th with all of the OFFICIALLY entered photos. Voting will take place for a duration of 1 week. The top three photos receiving the most “likes” will be announced on September 21st.

Prizes:

Grand Prize – Money back on your purchase (up to $250) AND a $100 Gift Card for your next purchase at our Etsy Store.

2nd Prize – Money back on your purchase (up to $250)

3rd Prize – $100 Gift Card for your next purchase at our Etsy Store.

Photo Tips:

(we’re not experts by any means, but here a few tips to try for achieving that winning shot!)

- Don’t just focus on the wall decal, zoom out a bit so it shows more of the surroundings. The composition is key!
- Use a tripod if you have one. If not, stack some books on a chair or something to make a stable base for the camera to rest on.
- Lighting, lighting, lighting… Natural Light and artificial light can play a big factor in photographing an interior space. Try to balance the lighting in the room if possible.

1) Contest is open to all of Simple Shapes customers who have not won any prizes from previous Simple Shapes Photo Contests.
2) Photos must display use of a product purchased from Simple Shapes.
4) By entering into our Summer Photo Contest, you grant Simple Shapes permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and publicly display your Contest submission for any purpose, including display on the Simple Shapes and Etsy website, without any attribution or compensation to you.
